The PPOA held elections at our September meeting and two positions were filled on the Board of Directors by Rich Thomas and Melanie Cope. Two more openings are available to fill the remaining 1-year term of recent resignations. A special election will be held at the PPOA meeting on Sunday, December 12, 2021.

Nominations are now being accepted for interested parties. Once the slate of candidates is finalized, an election will be conducted by vote of “eligible” members present at the meeting.

The Ponderosa Property Owners’ Association is a non-profit corporation that was created for the purpose of promoting the welfare and enjoyment of the property owners at Ponderosa. The government of the Association is conducted by a Board of Directors which consists of seven members and various committees. The four officers are President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary.

The PPOA is also looking at volunteers to take over the PPPOA quarterly Newsletter as Lorna and Mike McWilliams will leave the position after 5 years of dedicated commitment. The task has been significantly simplified and now only includes the assembly of 4 newsletters per year, the posting of the pdf copy on the PPOA website and the mailing a few (less than 20) newsletters to owners.
